With all of the candy your kiddos will bring home from their school's valentines day parties this week, wouldn't it be nice if they could indulge in a healthier option. With this in mind, I "hacked" or borrowed this terrific idea, and pic, from superhealthykids.com. However, I will only be using Thrive Life fruits, such as freeze dried strawberries, raspberries, and cranberries all threaded together with simple yarn and a needle. This alternative puts a vitamin packed spin on the time honored traditional "candy" necklace. I'm going to try this with my 6 year old tomorrow. A craft we both get to eat! Yummy!
